Rope is a platform where users can post images, text, and videos, and earn money based on likes for their content. We collect information from your device including your IP address, device type, and operating system to provide a smooth user experience and for security purposes.

To allow you to post content, engage with other users, and earn rewards for likes.  

- Rewarding Users: 

Your engagement metrics (e.g., likes) are tracked to calculate your rewards.

- Advertising: 

We display Google Ads to provide relevant advertisements based on your activity in the app. Google may use some of your data for personalized ads, subject to Google’s data policies.

We prioritize the security of your data. All personal and sensitive data you provide is securely stored on Google Firebase, a highly secure platform that offers encryption and data protection. Data is encrypted both during transmission (using SSL/TLS protocols) and at rest on Google Firebase servers. We retain your data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If your account remains inactive for a prolonged period or if you delete your account, we will retain your data only as long as required for legal, regulatory, or operational purposes.

- Account Deletion: 

You can request to delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting us. Upon deletion, all your personal data, posts, and interactions will be permanently removed from our systems within [30 days], unless a longer retention period is required by law.

- Data Deletion: 

You have the right to request the deletion of your data. If you choose to delete your account, all your data, including your posts, likes, and profile information, will be permanently erased.

You can terminate your account and stop using Rope at any time. If you terminate your account, all associated data will be deleted as outlined in our Data Retention Policy.

7. Data of Minors

Rope is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect or process data from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us to request deletion.

8. Changes to the Policy

We may update this User Data Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. You will be notified of any significant updates through in-app notifications or email. Your continued use of Rope after any updates to this policy means you accept the changes.
